The Fliers are a brazilian band formed in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul in 2014. The strands of folk and psychedelic sixties rock, blend pop harmonies to the band's contemporary sound.
In 2015 they were 1st at the Rock In Tour Festival, held in Sapucaia do Sul at the Holiday Studio Pub. The curatorship was done by teachers at the Elite Musical School in Porto Alegre.
At the end of 2016, after a year of experimenting with new members, the band starts working to introduce the audience. The EP was recorded in the collective Música da Casa Verde, in Esteio.
On May 11, 2018 is released the track Dream Balloon, EP Interius Pacem single. The release was accompanied by the song's official music video. The production was done completely independently.
On August 4, 2018, the EP Interius Pacem, with 6 tracks, will be released. Combining songs that are part of the repertoire of concerts and some new compositions, the work brings to the people and psychedelic sixties rock, soul, blues and also lo-fi.
In the same month of its launch, a review of the Interius Pacem EP, was made by Incubator, an independent music blog of Chicago in the United States. Classifying a band as: "... a five piece psychedelic rock band built in a Frankenstein manner with a Beatles heart, Pink Floyd brain, and Post Animal lungs. "
Os Fliers são uma banda gaúcha, formada em Canoas em 2014. Com vertentes do folk e rock psicodélico sessentista, mescla harmonias pop ao som contemporâneo da banda.
Em 2015 foram 1o lugar no Festival Rock In Tour, realizado em Sapucaia do Sul no Holiday Studio Pub. A curadoria foi feita por professores da escola Elite Musical de Porto Alegre.
No final de 2016, depois de um ano de experimentações com novos integrantes, a banda começa a gravar seu primeiro trabalho para apresentar para o público. O EP foi gravado no coletivo Música da Casa Verde, em Esteio.
Em 11 de Maio de 2018 é lançada a faixa Dream Balloon, single do EP Interius Pacem. O lançamento foi acompanhado do videoclipe oficial da canção. A produção foi feita de forma totalmente independente e as imagens foram captadas em Morungava, distrito de Gravataí, Região Metropolitana de Porto Alegre.
No dia 04 de Agosto de 2018, é lançado o EP Interius Pacem, com 6 faixas. Reunindo canções que faziam parte do repertório de shows e algumas composições novas, o trabalho traz referências do folk e psicodelia sessentista,
soul, blues e também do lo-fi.
No mesmo mês de seu lançamento, é feito uma resenha sobre o EP Interius Pacem, pela Incubator, um blog independente de música de Chicago nos Estados Unidos. Classificando a banda como: “...banda de rock psicodélico de cinco elementos construída em estilo “Frankenstein com um coração dos Beatles, cérebro de Pink Floyd e pulmões dos Post Animal.”
